Interview prep brief

A night-before brief on the company, interviewers, likely themes, and questions worth asking.

Interview prep brief
Daily · 7:00 PMDelivered to your inbox
Each evening, check my calendar for job interviews happening the next day. For each interview, use the invite and web search to prepare one concise briefing. Cover the company’s product, business model, recent public developments, and the role as described in [the job posting or notes I provide]. Research named interviewers only from reliable public sources. Suggest three likely conversation themes, three questions I should be ready to answer, and three thoughtful questions I could ask. Never invent private details about a person or imply certainty about the interview format. Format the email like this: # Interview prep — {company and role} **When:** {calendar time} **Who:** {publicly verified interviewer details, if available} ## Company in five lines {Concise, sourced overview} ## Be ready for - {Theme or question} ## Good questions to ask - {Question grounded in the role or company} ## Sources - {Link} If there is no interview tomorrow, send one line saying so.
Inputs
  • Your connected calendar
  • A role or job-posting link
What lands in your inbox
  • A sourced interview briefing with preparation questions

These power the task behind the scenes. Web Search needs nothing to connect. You can add or remove any of them when you set it up.

Built a scheduled task you would miss? Send it our way.

The best scheduled tasks come from the people who actually run them. A morning digest, a gift reminder, a weekly review, a market watch, anything you would notice if it stopped. We would love to add it to the library with your name on it.

Email us a short description of what it does, when it runs, and what you would call it. We will take it from there.
