Competitor Watch List
A weekly competitor brief: news, product moves, hiring, fundraising, and notable executive changes.
Competitor Watch List
Weekly · Monday, 8:00 AMDelivered to your inbox
Monitor these competitors: [insert competitors here].
For each competitor, surface anything notable from the past week using web search: product launches or updates, funding rounds or M&A activity, executive hires or departures, press coverage, and any public statements about strategy. Group findings by competitor. If a competitor has no notable activity this week, say so explicitly rather than padding. End with a short read on the one or two items most worth my attention.
Format the email like this:
# Competitor brief — week of {date}
## {Competitor name}
- **{Category, e.g. Product / Funding / People / Press / Strategy}:** {what happened, one line}
- **{Category}:** {what happened, one line}
## {Competitor name}
No notable activity this week.
## {Competitor name}
- **{Category}:** {what happened, one line}
## What this means
- {The one or two items most worth your attention, and why, in a line each.}
Use one ## section per competitor. Under each, use bullets with a bold category label. When a competitor has nothing, state that plainly instead of stretching thin items into bullets.

Built a scheduled task you would miss? Send it our way.
The best scheduled tasks come from the people who actually run them. A morning digest, a gift reminder, a weekly review, a market watch, anything you would notice if it stopped. We would love to add it to the library with your name on it.
Email us a short description of what it does, when it runs, and what you would call it. We will take it from there.
