Dinner this week

Five weeknight dinners for the week ahead and the grocery list to make them, sized to your household.

Dinner this week
Weekly · Sunday, 4:00 PMDelivered to your inbox
Every Sunday, plan five weeknight dinners for my household: [how many people, plus any diets or allergies here]. Keep each one under 40 minutes. Vary the week so it isn’t the same few proteins twice, and use this week’s date to lean toward a different cuisine mix than an average week, so the plans don’t feel repetitive over a month even though you won’t remember past weeks. Skip anything I’ve told you we don’t eat. Then give the five recipes with simple steps, followed by one grocery list grouped by aisle. Format the email like this: # Meal plan for the week of {date} One line on the overall mix this week (cuisines, balance of proteins). ## The five dinners ### {Day} — {Dish name} **Time:** {minutes} · **Serves:** {number} Steps: - {step one} - {step two} - {step three} Repeat the same block for each of the five dinners. ## Grocery list **Produce** - {item} - {item} **Meat & seafood** - {item} **Dairy & eggs** - {item} **Pantry & dry goods** - {item} **Other** - {item} Only include aisle headers that have items. Keep steps short and skip anything we don’t eat.

Built a scheduled task you would miss? Send it our way.

The best scheduled tasks come from the people who actually run them. A morning digest, a gift reminder, a weekly review, a market watch, anything you would notice if it stopped. We would love to add it to the library with your name on it.

Email us a short description of what it does, when it runs, and what you would call it. We will take it from there.
